Objectives :

The MySQL configuration audit aims to control the security of the MySQL database configuration.

In this analysis, 63 checkpoints will be addressed, including :

• The limitation of tables
• The control of rights
• The analysis of rights associated with functions
• The deletion of files installed by default
• Strengthening of passwords
• Installation of logs
• The reinforcement of banners
• The control of access to the service
• Analysis of requests‬
• Limitation on the size of requests

This computer security audit mission is reinforced by the implementation of analyses and recommendations targeting hardware and software architecture discovered within the audited platform.
